a stunning helmet its batch number matches up to a ss m42 helmet in brian ice book page 658 . leaving the factory to waffen ss .
a rare find . its ET62 SHELL AND BATCH CODE 2944 at rear of skirt . liner size 56cm . its none decal as per late war . its had the ordinance tan and red brown camo paint added to its shell outer , its has 3 bullet strikes to front .
inner liner leather has wear to it at fore head and soldiers initials in it in pen . original chins strap on it as well .
