RARE WW2 GERMAN bakelite 6×30 binoculars Dienstglast by CXN

Very rare original German 6×30 service binoculars ( Dienstglas ) manufactured in the reddish-brown Bakelite, a material increasingly used during the later war years as a substitute for metal. Bakelite binoculars were produced in limited numbers and are today much scarcer than the standard metal-bodied examples.
The binoculars are clearly marked “cxn”, the wartime manufacturer code for Emil Busch A.G., Rathenow, one of the well-known German optical manufacturers supplying equipment to the armed forces during the Second World War. marked “6×30” indicating the magnification and lens size.

The Bakelite body is in excellent condition, retaining its attractive marbled reddish coloration with only minor signs of handling and age. one lens ring is missing on right side which looks like its been off for a long while . optics are a little black spotted in places but im sure you wont be buying them to use as optics and a display item only , the metal work is a nice shade of late war tan
The binoculars come complete with their original leather neck strap, which is in good condition.
